## Program Overview This highly competitive winter training program bridges classroom learning with practical engineering design. Hosted by the **Ethiopian Science Academy**, the bootcamp provides high-achieving high schoolers with direct access to advanced lab hardware. Students spend their break working in a collaborative team environment, translating foundational science concepts into functioning electronic prototypes and software scripts. ## Core Learning Modules **Applied Electronics:** Building and troubleshooting circuits, reading schematics, understanding voltage/current interactions, and working with hardware components. **Computer Science Foundations:** Developing logical thinking and practical coding fundamentals through hands-on software development exercises. **STEM Center Lab Work:** Moving past textbook theory to run physical tests, measure data, and engineer working hardware prototypes. ## Strict Eligibility Rules **Academic Level:** Open exclusively to high school students currently in **Grades 10, 11, or 12**. **Performance Criteria:** Candidates must have a proven record of **high academic achievements** and strong performance in science and mathematics. ## Practical Logistics & Timeline **Program Duration:** **2 consecutive months** of intensive instruction. **Timeline:** The bootcamp officially kicks off on **July 14, 2026 (ሐምሌ 7/2018 ዓ.ም)**. **Program Cost:** **FREE** (Fully covered by the Academy). ## Venue Location & Details **Training Hub:** **Ethiopian Science Academy STEM Center** **Campus Address:** Located in Gullele Sub-City, Woreda 8, Addis Ababa. **Direction Landmarks:** Situated near the **St. Paul's Hospital** area. Pass the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) Gullele Branch, and turn inward at the **Woreda 8 Police Station** office block. ## How to Register **Registration Method:** **In-person registration only**. Interested students must physically walk into the registry desk located on the main Ethiopian Science Academy Campus to fill out their entry forms.
